Terms of sale
Updated 31 August 2026
The short version: this site sells one thing — The Naked Gut as a PDF eBook, downloaded straight after payment. No physical items are sold here. Because the file is delivered immediately, the purchase cannot be returned or exchanged once the download has been issued, and you confirm that before you pay.
Who you are buying from
The seller is Tommi Sundqvist, the author of the book. Questions about an order, a download or these terms go to nakedgut@gmail.com. The site is built and maintained by Aalto Visuals on the author’s behalf.
What is sold here
One product: The Naked Gut eBook as a PDF file — the same full-colour book, about 6 MB, readable on a phone, tablet or computer with any PDF reader.
No physical products are sold on this site. The paperback edition is sold by Amazon under Amazon’s own terms, and this site only links to it. The same is true of the Kindle edition. Any future products — an audiobook, further books or extra material — are not on sale until they appear on this page and in the shop.
Price and tax
The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. If tax has to be added, Stripe shows it before you confirm the payment, and the receipt itemises it. Prices on Amazon are set by Amazon and can differ from the price here.
How an order is made
- You confirm these terms and that the download starts immediately, then choose to buy.
- Payment is made on Stripe’s own secure checkout page.
- When Stripe confirms the payment, the order is complete and a personal download link is shown on the thank-you page.
The contract between you and the author is formed when the payment is confirmed. If the payment fails or is cancelled, no contract is formed and nothing is charged.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s page and never reach this site, which stores only the order id, the payment status, the amount, the currency, the country Stripe reports and your email address. See the privacy statement.
Delivery of the file
Delivery is immediate. The download link on the thank-you page is personal to your order: it stays valid for 7 days and allows up to 50 downloads, which is there to stop links being shared, not to limit normal use. Save the file somewhere safe once you have it.
If the link expires before you managed to download the book, or the download fails, write to nakedgut@gmail.com and a new link will be issued at no cost.
Returns and cancellation
Before paying you confirm two things: that you want the download to start immediately, and that you understand this means you give up the right of withdrawal that otherwise applies to distance purchases. Once that confirmation is given and the download link has been issued, the purchase cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled.
This does not take away your statutory rights if something is wrong with the product. The full policy, including the cases where you always get your money back, is on the refunds page.
What you may do with the file
The book is yours to read, on as many of your own devices as you like, for as long as you like. The copyright stays with the author: the file may not be resold, shared publicly, uploaded to file services or distributed as your own. If you want to use an extract — in an article, a talk or a course — ask at nakedgut@gmail.com and permission is usually given.
This is not medical advice
The book is a personal story, published for general information and inspiration. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional healthcare. Never stop or change a prescribed treatment on your own — decide together with your doctor.
If something goes wrong
If the file is faulty, does not open, or is not what was described, you are entitled to have it put right or to get your money back. Write to nakedgut@gmail.com with your order id and a description of the problem; you will have an answer within five working days.
Consumers in Finland can also contact the Consumer Advisory Service (kuluttajaneuvonta.fi) and, if the matter is not resolved, the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta.fi).
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you buy as a consumer from another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top shows when these terms were last changed. The version in force at the moment of your order is the one that applies to it, and the version you agreed to is recorded with your order.
